How to submit your documents with SmartVault
Follow these steps if you have not submitted your documents electronically before:
First, request an invitation to SmartVault through the entry below. Invitations will be sent 1-4 business days after request is received.
Once you receive your invitation, click the link labeled 'Activate'. You will be redirected to SmartVault's account set up. You will need to input your email and desired password. Once this is completed SmartVault will email you a verification code. You will be prompted to enter this code before being able to sign into SmartVault.
After the code is entered you will be prompted to login with the credentials you created earlier. Now that you are logged into your new SmartVault folder, click the menu button on the left, select your name. Click submit my documents, and choose the documents you would like to submit to us. These will automatically be uploaded to our records.
Congrats! You successfully submitted your documents to your tax preparer.
